General

What does vxlabs do?

vxlabs is an AI product studio. We help companies become AI-ready by building MCP servers, AI agents and AI-assisted workflows on top of their existing systems, and we design and ship complete SaaS platforms, mobile apps and developer tools.

What kind of products have you built?

Our portfolio includes a gym management SaaS, a local jobs marketplace app, an offline-first personal ledger app, an AI-assisted platform for insurance surveyors, an offline AI caption editor for creators, a multi-tenant CRM, an internal operations platform with AI coding agents, and open-source developer tools such as cgb (Code Graph Builder) on npm.

Who do you work with?

We work with founders who need an MVP built, small and mid-sized businesses that want to bring AI into their operations, and engineering teams that need senior help with AI integration, MCP servers or .NET modernisation.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. We work remotely with clients across India, the UAE and beyond, and we plan our working hours so there is a reliable overlap with your team for calls and reviews.

How much experience does the team have?

vxlabs is led by an engineer with more than 12 years of experience building production software, from enterprise .NET systems to mobile apps and AI tooling.

AI & MCP

What is an MCP server and why would my company need one?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude securely use your tools and data. An MCP server exposes your systems — a CMS, CRM, database or internal API — as tools the AI can call, so your team can ask an assistant to look things up or take actions instead of switching between dashboards.

What does "making a company AI-ready" actually involve?

We start by finding the workflows where AI saves real time, then connect AI to the systems those workflows depend on. That usually means MCP servers or APIs over your data, agent workflows with human approval steps, guardrails and logging, and training your team to use the new tools day to day.

Which AI models do you work with?

We mostly build with Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, and we also work with OpenAI models and local models through Ollama or whisper.cpp when data must stay on your own hardware. We choose the model per task based on quality, cost and privacy requirements.

Is our data safe when we connect it to AI?

Yes, when it is designed properly. We use scoped API keys, read-only modes where possible, role-based access, audit logs and human approval for any action that changes data. Where privacy requires it, processing can run on local models so data never leaves your infrastructure.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent can also take actions — it reads data, calls tools, drafts documents or opens pull requests — while following rules you define. In our builds, agents propose and people approve, so you keep control over anything important.

Can you add AI features to an app we already have?

Yes. Most of our AI work is on existing products: document and OCR intake, AI-assisted search, content generation in admin panels, automated summaries and reports, or an MCP server so assistants can work with your app directly.

Process & Pricing

How does a project with vxlabs start?

It starts with a free discovery call. We learn about your goals and constraints, then send a written proposal with scope, milestones, timeline and cost. Once agreed, we begin with a short prototype so you see working software early.

How long does it take to build an MVP?

A focused MVP typically takes 4 to 10 weeks depending on scope, integrations and platforms. An MCP server or AI integration for an existing system is often delivered in 1 to 4 weeks.

How do you price projects?

We offer fixed-price projects for well-defined scopes and monthly retainers for ongoing product development, AI consulting or support. You get a clear quote before any work begins.

Who owns the code and intellectual property?

You do. Once the project is paid for, the source code, designs and documentation belong to you, and we hand over repositories, credentials and deployment documentation.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share any confidential details about your product or business.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. We offer post-launch support and maintenance plans covering bug fixes, monitoring, security updates, app store releases and new features.

Technology

What technology stack do you use?

Our core stack is C# and ASP.NET Core, TypeScript with Node.js and NestJS, React and Astro on the web, Flutter and Expo (React Native) for mobile, SQL Server and PostgreSQL for data, and Claude, Gemini and MCP for AI.

Can you modernise our legacy .NET application?

Yes. We migrate older .NET Framework and Web Forms systems to modern ASP.NET Core in stages, keeping the business running while we add clean APIs, better performance and the hooks needed for AI features.

Do you build mobile apps for Android and iOS?

Yes. We build cross-platform apps with Flutter and Expo (React Native), including offline-first sync, push notifications, payments and Play Store and App Store releases.

Can you handle hosting, deployment and DevOps?

Yes. We set up hosting on VPS, IIS, Docker or the cloud, with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, backups and Cloudflare, and we can manage it for you after launch.

Can you work alongside our in-house developers?

Yes. We regularly join existing teams — reviewing architecture, building specific features or MCP servers, and setting up AI coding workflows with tools like Claude Code and cgb so your developers ship faster.
